I think I may be partial I really like Indian Cuisine, so that will always be a treat for me I liked the food, it was very good, to me it was great, but I can't say that I am the most Knowledgeable when it comes to Indian cuisine, I just know that I like it very much, at the moment, it is my favorite cuisine I ordered Naan which was great (so far, I haven't experienced Naan that I didn't like) Wasn't the best I have ever had, yet still very good. Enjoyable I also had the Chicken Biriyani, a wonderful dish, but I wouldn't say it is adventurous, and I can say the Biriyani I had was also enjoyable. I put it that way, because their may be other people that are very experienced in Indian Cuisine, to the point of being a connoisseur, that wouldn't be me, I am just a fan Ambience - Beautiful Restaurant. Very Clean, very nice atmosphere. Service - Very Good. Very polite server, and I thought the way some of the dishes came out was a very good experience Overall, I liked the restaurant very much, it was a place that I would enjoy going to again

I had my daughter in town and she loves Indian food. So a group of 5 of us had dinner at Tumeric. The service was very good and the staff was very attentive. For appetizers we had the Cauliflower Manchurian Bezule, Chicken 65 Bezule, Street Style Chilli Paneer. They were all very tasty and excellent. We also ordered the Home Style Special Chicken Curry, the Fresh Okra Fry, Tumeric Special Chicken Curry and Tiger Shrimp Biryani. Everyone said their food was excellent. The drinks were good too. I would definitely go back and recommend you give them a try too!

Great ambience. Okay service. Didn't wait too long. Ample parking space in the back. Imo it's quite pricey for the amount of chicken we get. But great presentation. Samosas aren't super small. I'd prefer normal size one. Overall tastes are just average. We do love the mango spicy condiment. I do like Indian restaurant addition to Delmar.

I've gotten their vegetarian lunch special another time since and this time it was great. Super flavorful, multiple pieces of paneer, and the veggies were flavorful and spicy but not overwhelming. Not oily like the first time at all. It did take awhile to prepare (about 30-45 mins after ordering online) but at least I know it was super fresh.

Ambiance: small, manageable. Really nice decor! Service: this was the only reason it got 4 stars versus 5! We went for lunch and we had to wait to be seated stood up there for about 15 minutes with no acknowledgment before someone finally came over to seat us. That was not the best, however, once we were set down everything went smoothly. Also, they don't serve cocktails during lunch on Saturdays and said we could only get beer or wine../but they only had white wine (I prefer ) so that was a damper, but the food made up for most of it. Food: the food was so good. A lot of wonderful flavors. The chicken biryani was mixed very well and the bowl was deep that I thought so the serving is hefty. The non-veg sampler was the best thing in the menu if you don't really know what to get. We tried both the regular naan and the garlic naan....and omg!! I could have ate the garlic naan as a meal! The Mango Lassai was also very creamy and tasty and could easily be used as a dessert drink.

Tumeric is one of our favorite Indian restaurants. We have been here numerous times, and we were always happy with the quality of food and service here after each visit. The wait staffs have been friendly and welcoming. Tumeric provided a pleasant and soothing ambience in addition to comfy booth seatings. They sold out of chicken 65 tonight, so my partner got the Kale Palak Chaat. This was an interesting dish where kales was disguised in a yummy way - crispy and flavorful. We also got Truffle Potato Masala Dosa and Butter Chicken. We tried a few places served Dosa in STL but Tumeric's Dosa is the best! I highly recommended the Dosa here. Basically, Dosa is a thin, crispy, Indian style crepe made from fermented rice and lentil batter - definitely a vegan friendly item. You can pick your own fillings such as potato/egg/chicken or lamb. My favorite is the potato filling. Their butter chicken served with Basmati rice on the side was finger licking good!!!! The sauce was very buttery/creamy, and the chicken was very moist. It's even better when warm fresh Garlic Naan dip in the sauce. Highly recommend!!!

Great Indian restaurant, especially if you love spicy food! Love the chill music vibes and atmosphere inside. Even though it was a Thursday night, the restaurant was quite busy (which is always a good sign!). We had a reservation and the service was pretty fast. - Pineapple Mojito: 8/10 on the sweeter side, but not too sweet or strong - Chicken Lollipop: 9/10 absolutely yummy, melts in you - Tanjore Lamb Chop Masala: 9/10 yummy as well, comes with a lot of masala that can be paired with naan or rice - Garlic Naan: 10/10 soft, fresh, perfect amount of garlic, delicious! - Tiger Shrimp Biryani: 9/10 on the spicier side, came out fresh and soft - Double Ka Meeta: 6/10 alright, but not my favorite bread pudding

Tumeric is one of my absolute favorite Indian restaurants in St. Louis!! This restaurant is conveniently located along the Delmar Loop. They offer a lunch menu and a dinner menu, and I have gone multiple times since I moved to St. Louis. Today, I went specifically for dinner. Their dinner menu features salads, small plates, various dosa courses, entrees, breads, and drinks. While I did not order a drink today, I would recommend the Masala Chai which has an earthy flavor or the Mango Lassi which is a sweet mango flavored yogurt drink. Today I ordered my usual dish - Chicken Tikka Masala with Garlic Naan Bread. This dish was delicious and the portion size served was very generous. The flavors of the sauce, rice, and naan bread all blended very well together. The garlic naan bread was baked to perfection with the perfect combination of crispy and chewy. The chicken tikka masala sauce was very flavorful. I could taste the blended spices in the sauce as well as smell the wonderful aroma of it. This dish definitely felt like it took hours and hours of preparation to make. I was also so happy when I had leftovers to take home! Overall, I love coming here and definitely consider this restaurant as one of my favorite spots in St. Louis!
